I have always tried to tweak Google Adsense referral links to get better conversions. However, despite the clicks, earnings have been very limited. Recently Google Adsense allowed referral endorsements and modified the payouts to make them more attractive for publishers. Today I was surprised to see an extra $250 earnings in my Adsense account.
The new Google AdSense Referrals deal is truly attractive – when your referral earns their first $5 within 180 days, you will be credited with $5. If he earns $100 within 180 days, you will be credited an additional $250. Now here is the bonus – In any 180 day period, you refer 25 publishers who each earn more than $100 within 180 days, you will be awarded a $2,000 bonus (limited to 1 per year).
So in my case, someone signed up for a Google Adsense account via my referral link, and earned $100 within 180 days – and I earned an easy $250! Now I believe that if properly promoted, Adsense referrals can generate significant additional revenue. If I can refer 25 publishers and get them to earn more than $100 within 180 days, I get a $2,000 bonus! Post those referral links on your site today, someone might just sign up…
